16 Oct 08 An Open Letter to Eradicate Poverty

Today is Blog Action Day and the focus of this is to get bloggers to unite together for a common goal. This year it is to eradicate poverty. While many Aussies are dreading the current economic crisis it is easy to forget about the world’s impoverished. In order to help out, I found this incredibly novel idea from TorrentFreak.

To that end I have donated $50 to help get things underway for Peace Tamaday and I’m writing an open letter to any retailers, readers or anybody from uLasoo to join and help Kiva with their Peer2Poor microlending strategy. Anybody can join the team here. Who knows, one day it may be more than what I have in my wallet now. From little things, big things grow.
